The Rhine is like a journey through a thrilling story, full of myths and legends. This is where you will find the beautiful and magical Loreley Rock, but also an abundance of flora and fauna which thrive in the sunny climate of the Rhine Valley.
The Rhine region happens to be one of the most important wine-producing areas in the country, and Boppard proudly houses the largest vineyard in the Middle Rhine valley, Boppard Hamm.
Boppard is known for its picturesque setting amid vineyards and hills. It has a charming Rhine River promenade lined with cafes and shops, where visitors can stroll along and enjoy views of the river. The town has a well-preserved historic centre with narrow cobblestone streets and half-timbered houses.
The abundance of culture and the 2000-year-old history contained in this part of the river Rhine are incomparable and are the reason for the status World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
The special role the Rhine has played as a transport route, the special scenery, the traditional winegrowing and the shipping all show the different faces of the Rhine.

The 4 star superior Bellevue Hotel built in 1887, is a family run hotel for over 130 years. It offers elegant Art Nouveau decor.
The hotel has 93 elegantly furnished rooms, all en-suite with free toiletries, bath robe and hairdryer. The large bedrooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, safe, fan, radio, telephone, alarm clock as well as a mini fridge.
The 3 restaurants serve gourmet cuisine. Regional specialities are served in the Le Bristol and Le Chopin restaurants.
Guests are free to use the Bellevue's indoor pool, sauna, and gym. Massages and beauty treatments can be booked on-site.
Guests receive a special pass which includes free admission to Museum Boppard and free use of public transport.
The hotel stands right beside the River Rhine, directly opposite several ferry piers.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Home - Germany & Boppard
After boarding your luxury coach, we head straight down to Dover for our morning ferry crossing to Calais. We drive through France, Belgium, with comfort stops en-route, then crossing the border into Germany. Arriving in Boppard early evening, where we will spend the next 4 nights on half board. There will be a welcome drink on arrival.
Days 2-4: Christmas Markets
Over the next 3 days you will visit local Christmas markets, with their many wooden chalets selling all sorts of Christmas goodies. May include Trier, Rudesheim, Bernkastle, Cochem or others. We will not know until nearer the time in 2025.
Day 3: Return Home
After an early breakfast and the cases have been loaded on the coach, we say farewell to our hosts at the Bellevue Hotel and depart for Dunkirk. We will make stops en-route for comfort and for lunch. Arriving at Dunkirk for our ferry crossing to Dover. Arriving home mid to late evening.
