Your Accommodation

MS Botticelli, Paris

This elegant ship sails on the Seine, a historic and authentic river with breathtaking views.

Completely renovated in 2016, the MS Botticelli is a standard ship that measures 110m long and 11,40m wide and can accommodate 149 passengers in 75 cabins on 2 decks. The size of a cabin is between 10m2 to 11.50m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The shades of taupe and beige, enhanced with emerald green, as well as the golden touches of the cabins and the precious fabrics of Venice, provide an elegant and cosy atmosphere.

Located on the upper deck is the restaurant, where all meals are served during the cruise, offering a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where large windows allow guests to fully enjoy the panorama. Also situated on the upper deck is the lounge/bar with a dance floor. This is where your cabaret show will take place on one night, and dancing on another.

All cabins have en-suite facilities with a shower and toiletries. Headsets are also provided in your cabins for excursions.

On the sun deck, there are comfortable sun lounges and a large, shaded area (weather permitting, of course).

The 'Paris by Night' cruise may have a modified itinerary, for reasons of navigational safety, which the captain and crew of the boat alone will decide. This cruise is subject to tidal influences and arrival times at the ports of call.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Local Area

Leaving your local area, the journey starts with your morning ferry from Dover to Calais. A meal voucher will be given to you for use on board for a main meal and a drink. Making your way from Calais, you travel through France with comfort stops to arrive at your floating hotel in Paris. Time to settle in on the MS Botticelli before dinner.

Day 2: Paris Guided Tour

After a buffet breakfast, you have a panoramic guided tour of Paris by coach. You will discover the renowned sights and attractions of this magnificent city. (Approx. 2.5 hours) Return to the boat for lunch. This afternoon, you are free to explore Paris on your own. Try out the Metro, buses or walk, whichever you desire. This evening is Gala night and dinner (subject to change). Depending on the water level of the river, you may also cruise to the business district of La Defense in the evening. You will then return to the quay in Paris.

Day 3: Paris - The Old Montmartre

This morning, after breakfast, is another half day guided tour of the old Montmartre. (Approx 3.5 hrs). Located at the very heart of a 19th-century village, the Sacre-Coeur Basilica has remained one of the favourite models for all-time painters, sculptors and poets alike. Check out the artist square; see many artists at work and their paintings, drawings, and even doing caricatures of people. Visit the Sacre-Coeur; see the beautiful views from the top of Montmartre over Paris. After the tour, you will return to the boat to enjoy lunch.

This afternoon, you have more free time to explore. As the boat will be docked a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero gardens, and the Invalides, which is just a little further away, it is easy to visit Paris at your leisure.

This evening, you will cruise by night (depending on the water level), floating through the beautiful, illuminated city, particularly attractive when viewed from the vantage point on the Seine.

Day 4: Return Home

After an early breakfast, we depart the MS Botticelli and make our way once again back through France to Dunkirk for our afternoon ferry to Dover. There will be a meal voucher included for food and a drink. We will have comfort stops en-route to Dunkirk. Arrival time back in our local area should be mid-evening.
