Yorkshire, is an historic county of England, in the north-central part of the country between the Pennines and the North Sea. Yorkshire is England's largest historical county. It comprises of four broad belts each stretching from north to south: the high Pennine moorlands in the west, dissected by the Yorkshire Dales; the central lowlands - including the Vale of York - draining into the Humber estuary in the southeast; the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Wolds in the east; and, in the far southeast, the Holderness plain along the North Sea. Yorkshire entered the Industrial Revolution as a centre of woollen textile manufacturing in the towns of Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Wakefield, and Huddersfield, where rivers flowing from the Pennines provided both waterpower and a means of transport to the seaport of Kingston upon Hull.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Local Area
Departing our local area, we travel north to the market town of Chesterfield, with the church with the twisted spire. We will stay here for lunch and a little sightseeing, and then we will continue to our hotel in Huddersfield, and here we will spend the next 3 nights with dinner bed & breakfast. Pre-dinner drinks each evening. Tonight's entertainment begins with 'The JDs Rockin' Good Nite' band - a four-piece boy band playing hits from the 60's & 70's on guitar and keys.
Day 2: Harrogate
After breakfast, we make our way to the spa town of Harrogate. Make sure you visit the famous Bettys Tearooms, founded in 1919 by a Swiss confectioner. There is also the Royal Pump Rooms Museum where you will be able to find out why Charles Dickens said that 'Harrogate is the queerest place with the strangest people in it, leading the oddest lives'. Later, returning to the hotel. After dinner enjoy an evening of live entertainment in the form of a 'Vintage Variety Show' with comedy numbers, jugglers, singers and dancers all helping to create moments of joy and laughter.
Day 3: Embassy & Bolton Abbey Railway
Enjoy a relaxing morning before making our way to board the Embassy & Bolton Abbey Railway for a 1920's style murder mystery. As we journey through the Yorkshire Dales, a bespoke live-action story unfolds. Are you going to be able to solve the case and discover who committed the murder? After an exiting journey we make our way back to the hotel to rest before dinner. The final night of entertainment comes from 'The Lipsticks'. A trio of classy ladies who will be playing hits from the 40's & 50's rounding off our weekend of vintage entertainment in style.
Day 4: Depart for Home
After breakfast and the cases have been loaded onto the coach, we say farewell to our hotel and head for home. We will have a break at Downtown for lunch before we continue our journey home, arriving in your local area by late afternoon.
