The Crewe Hall Hotel was originally built in the 17th century, the hotel has gone on to survive a fire, hosted the military during WW2, and even received a visit from Her Majesty the late Queen Elizabeth in 1955.
The 17th-century Grade I-listed Crewe Hall is set in 8 acres of peaceful Cheshire countryside and is steeped in history and historic Jacobean and modern architecture.
The hotel has 117 opulent bedrooms, each with private bathroom, a flat-screen TV with some Sky channels, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities.
You can make use of the hotel's spa and leisure facilities which include a spa with a swimming pool, a steam room, sauna and whirlpool. There is also six treatment rooms offering massage, facials and manicures.
The brasserie restaurant offers a contemporary space and The Sheridan Bar, where history and elegance intertwine to create an unforgettable experience.


Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Local Area
After boarding your luxury coach, we head west to Crewe, with comfort stops en-route. Arriving at the Crewe Hall Hotel there will be porterage to help with the bags. Here is where you will spend the next four nights with dinner bed and breakfast. Settle in for a fun-packed week.
Day 2: World of Wedgwood
Today we visit the World of Wedgwood, an award-winning attraction in the heart of Staffordshire. Enjoy a 1 hour guided factory tour to see how they make this beautiful porcelain. Then you can explore the V&A Wedgwood Collection which is self-guided. Later lunch will be provided of soup, sandwiches and chips. There will be time to visit the little shops outside before returning to the hotel.
Day 3: Chester & Boat Trip
Today you have a full day in Chester to explore all this wonderful historic city has to offer. To start our day, enjoy a relaxing 30 minute cruise along the River Dee, before discovering Chester's remarkable cathedral with Europe's finest example of medieval carvings, the unique 700-year-old Rows, galleries of shops, the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain and the most complete city walls in Britain. If time allows, why not hop on and off an open top sightseeing bus.
Day 4: Anderton Boat Lift
After breakfast we head off for the Anderton Boat Lift near Northwich, where you will enjoy a lift and river boat trip. This is a Victorian masterpiece of waterway engineering built to connect the River Weaver and the Trent & Mersey canal.
Later we take a drive to the medieval town of Nantwich, with its atmospheric streets, medieval timbered buildings, antique and craft shops, before returning to the hotel.
Day 5: Return Home
After breakfast and the cases have been loaded onto the coach, we say farewell to our hotel and head for home. We will have a break at Trentham Gardens for lunch before we continue our journey home, arriving in your local area by late afternoon.
