After all pickups are done, we make a short comfort stop if need be. We then continue our journey to Newbury for lunch. After lunch, we continue to our hotel in Bournemouth.

Day 2: Free Day

A day at leisure to do as you please.

Day 3: Swanage Railway

This morning, depart the hotel for Swanage and the Swanage Railway. This is a return journey on a 12-mile trip through beautiful Purbeck countryside and includes stunning views of the iconic remains of William the Conqueror's Corfe Castle. You have some free time in Swanage before heading off to Poole to meet the boat for your bay cruise.

Day 4: Highcliffe Castle

After Breakfast, depart the hotel and take a short drive to Highcliffe Castle. This magnificent building, once lavishly furnished in the 18th-century French style, remained a family home until the 1950s. Whilst two fires destroyed the rich interiors in the 1960s, the castle's renovated exterior is testimony to the remarkable skills of craftsmen and women who carried out a huge repair and conservation programme in the 1990s. The building's residents, among whom was Harry Gordon Selfridge, who founded the London-based department store Selfridges. Mr Selfridge lived in the castle between 1916 and 1922 and is buried with his wife at St Mark's churchyard just across the road from the castle.

This afternoon (time permitting), you head to Lymington, a coastal town which offers plenty for the visitor to the New Forest. This colourful and vibrant town is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history, and with so much to see and do. Learn about the rich heritage of the town, enjoy some retail therapy, treat yourself to delicious food and drink and relax by the water.

Day 5: Return Home
