Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Local Area
Step aboard your luxury coach as you start your journey to Bournemouth. There will be stops en-route for comfort. We arrive at the Marsham Court Hotel, where you will spend the next four nights with dinner, bed and breakfast. On arrival there will be tea/coffee. Time to settle in before dinner.
Day 2: Monkey World
Today we enjoy a fun-filled, fascinating day out at Monkey World - Ape Rescue Centre. Set in a 65-acre park which provides sanctuary for rescued and endangered primates from around the world. The park is well laid out and spacious for both humans and primates alike. You can also support Monkey World in continuing their rescue and rehabilitation work by adopting a primate, giving you free entry to the park for a whole year. There is also a cafe which serves hot and cold food. Later returning to hotel.
Day 3: Day at Leisure
Today is a free day for you to do whatever you fancy. You may like to walk on the beach, have a paddle, shop, visit the parks etc.
Day 4: Montacute House & Gardens NT
Today we visit Montacute House. This is one of the few Elizabethan houses in England to still have its compartmentalised garden. A masterpiece of Elizabethan Renaissance architecture and design, with towering walls of glass, glowing ham stone with its famous Long Gallery and its collection of Tudor and Elizabethan portraits. You will also see the State Rooms with its collections of fine furniture and textiles. Montacute House has been used in the BBC drama Wolf Hall. The surrounding garden, from the impressive 'wibbly wobbly' hedges by the Cedar Lawn, to the tropical interior of the orangery, each area offers something different for you to explore and enjoy, no matter what the season.
Day 5: Depart for Home
After breakfast we retrace our steps back home, making a stop at Winchester for a break. We then continue our journey and should be back by late afternoon.
