Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Local Area
After boarding your coach, we travel to Fishguard for the afternoon ferry to Rosslare. On arrival, we continue to Waterford for dinner and our overnight stay at Dooley's Hotel.
Day 2: Depart for Castleisland
After breakfast, we continue our journey through the south of Ireland, travelling via Youghal to the famous village of Blarney. There will be time to visit Blarney Castle at your own expense, perhaps taking the opportunity to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, or simply browse the extensive Blarney Woollen Mills, renowned for its wide range of traditional Irish gifts and products. We then continue through the beautiful Irish countryside to Castleisland and the River Island Hotel, our base for the next four nights.
Day 3: Killarney & Jaunting Car Ride
Today we visit beautiful Killarney, surrounded by mountains, lakes and some of County Kerry's finest scenery. Here we enjoy an included ride on a traditional jaunting car, travelling through Killarney National Park and along the shores of Lough Leane to historic Ross Castle. From here we board the Lily of Killarney for a relaxing cruise across the lake, offering wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. Our coach will then return us to Killarney town, where there will be free time to explore the colourful shops, cafes and traditional Irish pubs before returning to our hotel.
Day 4: Ring of Kerry
Today we enjoy a full-day excursion around the spectacular Ring of Kerry, one of Ireland's most celebrated scenic routes. Travelling around the Iveragh Peninsula, we pass through picturesque villages and enjoy ever-changing views of mountains, rugged coastline and golden beaches. Our journey takes us through Killorglin, Glenbeigh and Caherciveen before continuing towards Moll's Gap and the famous Ladies View, with plenty of magnificent scenery to enjoy along the way. We return to Castleisland later in the day.
Day 5: Dingle & the Dingle Peninsula
Today we explore the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, where dramatic mountains meet the wild Atlantic coastline. This wonderfully scenic area is known for its sandy beaches, traditional villages, rich Irish heritage and strong musical traditions. We travel through some of the peninsula's impressive scenery before spending time in colourful Dingle itself, with an opportunity to explore its shops, cafes and harbour at your own pace. Later, we return through the Kerry countryside to our hotel.
Day 6: Irish National Stud & Bray
After breakfast, we leave Castleisland and begin our journey towards Bray. En-route we visit the Irish National Stud, where admission is included. This fascinating attraction celebrates Ireland's world-famous horse-breeding tradition and can be explored at your own pace. Our visit also includes the beautiful Japanese Gardens, with their winding pathways, streams, greenery and the picturesque Bridge of Life and Tea House. After time to explore, we continue to the Wilton Hotel in Bray for dinner and our final overnight stay.
Day 7: Return Home
After an early Grab & Go breakfast, we travel to Dublin for the morning ferry to Holyhead, with breakfast included on board. We then continue our journey home, with suitable comfort stops along the way, arriving during the early evening.
