It is a town of parks and gardens and many trees. The star attraction is unquestionably its stretch of soft sandy beach. The iconic Bournemouth Pier offers all manner of seaside fun, with retro amusement arcades, colourful souvenir shops and tempting ice-cream stalls. There is also Christmas Tree Wonderland, including an animated warm-white tunnel leading you through the Lower Gardens. Festive trail featuring replica Christmas trees from around the world along with a multitude of enchanting illuminations and installations. The Alpine Market and Alpine Lodge Bar in the Square offer a great atmosphere and festive fare.

The family-run award-winning Marsham Court Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a south-facing swimming pool, heated May to September, 95 stylish bedrooms individually decorated with modern bathrooms, many featuring a large walk-in shower, a flat-screen TV, laptop safe, ironing facilities and tea and coffee making facilities in every room.
Guests can enjoy the on-site bar, which serves a selection of drinks, as well as afternoon tea and homemade dishes.

Overlooking Bournemouth's sandy beaches, Marsham Court Hotel is just metres from the seafront. Bournemouth centre and shopping streets can be reached in 5 minutes' walk. During 2027 the hotel will be following an improvement project to make future visits even better. The work will be completed in stages in order to minimise disruption, but this may impact upon your stay.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Local Area
Step aboard your luxury coach as you start your journey to Bournemouth. There will be stops on route for comfort. We arrive at the Marsham Court Hotel, where you will spend the next four nights with dinner bed and breakfast. On arrival there will be tea/coffee and chef's homemade shortbread. Time to settle in before joining a reception drink with carol singing, introductions to the family and management followed by their 3-course table d'hote dinner with entertainment. Dress code: smart casual or evening wear.
Day 2: Christmas Eve Day at Leisure
After a hot & cold buffet breakfast you are free to explore Bournemouth and its wonderful Christmas Tree Wonderland. There will be afternoon tea plus charity cinema horseracing, dinner with entertainment. Dress code: Lounge suits and something dressy for the ladies.
Day 3: Christmas Day
After breakfast there will be light-hearted competitions throughout the day. Christmas day lunch complete with a visit from Santa, and a 'Last Night of the Proms' atmosphere from the entertainer. This evening enjoy a Ploughman's buffet dinner with entertainment. Dress code: Smart wear for lunch, glitz & glamour for evening.
Day 4: Poole
After a leisurely breakfast we take a run out to Poole. Poole Harbour features the second largest natural harbour in the world (after Sydney) and is fast becoming the St Tropez of the South Coast as lucrative investment spreads along the harbour from the mega-money areas of Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs and Lilliput. Visit the many quaint little shops and cafes along the quay. We return to the hotel for a hot buffet luncheon. This evening the chef and his team will present a gala buffet with themed evening dinner with entertainment. Dress code: dress up if you wish or just accessorise to suit the theme (optional).
Day 5: Depart for Home
After breakfast and your cases have been loaded onto the coach, we say goodbye to our hosts at the Marsham Court Hotel and start our journey home. We will stop on route for lunch. Continuing our journey, we arrive back in our local area late afternoon, early evening.
