Warwickshire is a county in the West Midlands region of England. The county town is Warwick, and the largest town is Nuneaton. The county is famous for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon. Other significant towns in the county include Rugby, Leamington Spa, Bedworth and Kenilworth.

The majority of Warwickshire's population live in the north and centre of the county. The market towns of northern and eastern Warwickshire were industrialised in the 19th century. Major industries included coal mining, textiles, engineering and cement production, but heavy industry is in decline, being replaced by distribution centres, light to medium industry and services.

The prosperous towns of central and western Warwickshire including Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford-upon- Avon, Kenilworth, Alcester, Southam and Wellesbourne harbour light to medium industries, services and tourism as major employment.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Local Area

After boarding your luxury coach, we make our way Warwickshire. We will make a comfort stop/Lunch on route. We will then continue our journey to arrive at the Walton Hall & Spa Hotel. While you cases are taken to your rooms, there will be a welcome Tea/Coffee with scones, cream and jam on arrival in the Lemon Tree Bar. Time to relax and formularise your selves with your surroundings before dinner. A glass of wine with your meal and tea/coffee after dinner.

Day 2: Stratford on Avon

After breakfast we will take a ride into Stratford on Avon to get those last minute gifts or shopping. There will be time to explore this historic town where Shakespeare was born. Visit the Theatre or the church where he is buried, the school room, New Place and lots more. We return back to the hotel to relax before getting ready for a mulled wine reception with Carol singers before dinner, followed by live musical entertainment. And so to bed, don't forget to hang up your stocking.

Day 3: Day at Leisure

After Father Christmas has been its time for breakfast, after you may want to take a walk in the grounds or take advantage of the facilities (swimming pool etc). It will soon be time for Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. After lunch you have the opportunity to watch the Queens Speech in the Lemon Tree Bar then Tea/Coffee with Christmas cake and Festive films. This evening you will have a Hot & Cold buffet evening meal followed by a Quiz to round off the evening.

Day 4: Leamington Spa

After Breakfast we will head to Royal Leamington Spa for a catch up in the Boxing Day Sales, Leamington Spa is a town in central England. Set on the winding River Leam, it's known for its Regency architecture and broad boulevards. The colonnaded Royal Pump Rooms, a 19th-century bathhouse, now house the Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum. It includes a local history gallery and an original hammam, or cooling room. Jephson Gardens is a park with formal flowerbeds and a glasshouse for tropical plants. The town with an unrivalled selection of specialist boutiques and major high-street stores, Royal Leamington Spa is a shopping experience not to be missed.

Day 5: Depart for Home

After another wonderful breakfast and your cases have been loaded on to the coach. It is time to say goodbye to our hosts at the Walton Hall Hotel and head for home. There will be a comfort stop on route, and you should be back in your local area by late afternoon.

Your driver and guide will do their professional best to ensure that you enjoy this tour. It will be at their discretion to rearrange the itinerary to better the tour for your comfort.
