Llandudno is Wales's largest resort with a multitude of Llandudno hotels, traditional B&Bs, creative self catering and other attractions with amazing things to do. Stroll the perfectly preserved Victorian seafront lined with candy-coloured hotels, or get some sea air with a walk down the historic pier.
The Great Orme headland rises above the promenade. A nature reserve with rare flora and - would you believe – wild Kashmir goats. You can go to the top on the historic tramway, or by cable car.
The town is renowned for its sweeping bay and Victorian architecture. It is uniquely situated between the Great and Little Ormes with two wonderful beaches.
Did you know that Llandudno is one of the drier places in the country? It has a mild climate all year round. The Victorian's knew this and when they designed the town they provided for the comfort of visitors by building covered walkways next to all the shops on Mostyn Street. This means you can walk along the majority of the street and keep your hair dry while you are browsing from shop to shop! When you tire of shopping (is that possible!) you can take a break in one of the many cafes, restaurants and pubs on offer.

The Tynedale Hotel is centrally located on Llandudno's iconic promenade, only 20 metres from the beach and just a pleasant level stroll to the beautiful well preserved pier, theatre and shops.
This boutique style 4 star hotel, offers executive sea view rooms, penthouse suites, modern double, twin and single rooms all with modern fabrics, digital TV, telephones, free Wi-Fi, hairdryers and hot drink making facilities.
The majority of rooms are accessed by a lift.
Peppercorns is their contemporary restaurant located on the lower ground floor, offering a daily choice of traditional and modern dishes. They have a wonderful bar and terrace, and live evening entertainment.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Local Area
After boarding your coach and all pickups have been done, you depart your local area for Llandudno. There will be comfort stops on the way. Stopping at Llangollen for lunch. Continuing your journey to Llandudno via the Dee Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. On arrival at the Tyndale Hotel, while your cases are taken to your rooms, there will be afternoon tea provided. This evening after dinner, there will be entertainment.
Day 2: Snowdonia Mountain Railway (included)
What a day we have for you today. Take a once in a lifetime adventure on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which has been described as one of the most scenic railway journeys in the world. It is a narrow gauge track and pinion mountain railway that travels for 4.7 miles from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales. On a clear day the views can stretch as far as Ireland, it's the UK's highest visitor centre, at 1,085m above sea level. With stunning scenery and awe- inspiring views, it's all part of a great day out.
Just a short drive away is the slate museum where we will have a stop to explore. The museum opened in 1972, a building full of memories of the past. The museum has been a hive of activity over the years! Every year people from all over the world, marvel at the skill of the quarrymen and blacksmith, The building has resonated to the sounds of bands and choirs and has been a venue for plays and films. It is now part of an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 3: Day at Leisure
Today you can please yourselves as to what you want to do. Lay on the beach (if the weather permits) shop and explore the town or maybe get the old tram to go up the Great Orme. Your guide can arrange this for you as a group.
Day 4: Plas Newydd House & Gardens (Included)
Today we travel to Anglesey to the beautiful house and gardens of Plas Newydd. Home of the Marques of Anglesey. The grade 1 listed landscape consists of 40 acres of gardens and 129 acres of woodland and parkland. The mild conditions of the garden allow a wide range of plants to flourish. So much of what's special in the garden is in direct result of the setting and climate. With views across the Menai Strait to the mountains of Snowdonia, it is easy to see why a house has stood in this spot since the early 16th century. Inside you can discover art, military history and also the interior design that made Plas Newydd what you see today. It is most definitely a hard location to beat. After a wonderful day we return back to the hotel.
Day 5: Depart for Home
After breakfast and cases have been loaded onto the coach, we say farewell to our host at the Tynedale Hotel and head back. There will be stops on the way. We should arrive at your boarding points late afternoon.
