Tour Itinerary
Christmas Eve
After leaving our local area, we travel direct to Lytham St. Anne's with comfort stops on the way. Arriving at the hotel, time to relax and prepare yourself for the forthcoming frivolities.
6:00pm the bar is open so come and join your hosts and meet some of your fellow guests. At 7.00pm enjoy a welcome dinner, setting the tone for the week ahead freshly prepared by the chefs de cuisine in the ballroom. After dinner relax with coffee in the lounge. Cabaret entertainment in the ballroom will follow at 9.00pm before a 'goodnight' glass of sherry and homemade mince tarts at 11.00pm.
Christmas Day
A crisp winter morning awaits - and have you had a visit from Santa?
Start the day, 8.00am-9.30am with a great traditional English breakfast, followed by a brisk walk on the promenade??? At 11.00am morning coffee and traditional Christmas Carols can be enjoyed in the lounge. Let the Festive spirit come alive with a Christmas sing-along in the lounge at 12.00pm. Traditional Christmas luncheon and grand arrival of Father Christmas is at 12.30pm, followed by warm mince pies & coffee in the lounge. At 4.00pm...if you can manage it..tea and Christmas cake is served in the Lounge. A Christmas Day carvery buffet is served at 7.00pm including a delicious selection of home roasted meats & poultry, tasty salads and homemade sweets from the patisserie. Something to tickle those taste buds, all beautifully displayed, so bring your camera! The evening continues with entertainment......and so to bed you sleepy heads.
Boxing Day
8.00am-9.30am start the day with a great traditional English breakfast before morning coffee and chat at 11.00am in the lounge. At 12.30pm you can enjoy a traditional Boxing Day luncheon, followed by Bingo at 3.30pm before tea/coffee & biscuits at 4.30pm. A Boxing Day carvery buffet will be served at 7.00pm followed by cabaret entertainment in the evening at 9.00pm.
Thursday: The Grand Finale
After a great traditional English breakfast served between 8.00am-9.30am you can enjoy a morning coffee and chat at 11.00am in the lounge before a light finger lunch is served in the lounge at 12.30pm. Tea/coffee, biscuits & Bingo at 4.00pm before Le Grand Farewell Dinner & Chefs Parade follows at 7.00pm. This is a must for your camera so save your film. The Clifton Park Hotel is proud to present the chefs de cuisine in the Snowman Parade. There will be a fancy dress parade at 8.30pm and cabaret entertainment in the ballroom at 9.00pm. Join us for a glass of bubbly and shortcake biscuits at 11.00pm and when the dancing is done let's drink a toast to everyone and may our message sound quite clear - we'll meet again same spot next year.
Friday: Goodbye & Home
After a great traditional farewell English breakfast between 8:00am-9:30am we say farewell to our hosts at the Clifton Park Hotel and return home via the Peak District arriving back to your local area early evening.
Your driver/guide will do their professional best to ensure that you enjoy this tour. It will be at their discretion to rearrange the itinerary to better the tour for your comfort.
